Challenge:
TaylorMade was launching its newly designed irons which were a marvel of engineering precision. To highlight the new product, TaylorMade needed a high-end package that would both deliver its product in style and allow retailers and other distributors to display it in store.
Solution:
Americhip put our engineers to work to design a sophisticated and functional package worthy of these exquisite irons. Our turned-edge black box was highlighted with spot gloss varnish and a raised white logo. A thin slice of the interior red housing was revealed on three sides. Once opened, the iron head was held in a custom fit, high density foam tray. To allow the club to be merchandised in store, our engineers included a built-in, sliding easel back on the tray which allowed it to pivot into a 45 degree positon for optimal viewing in store. A beautiful “up and down” as they say in the golf world.
