Americhip is seeking an experienced, dynamic and innovative Engineering Product Manager to support our continued growth and product development in the areas of enhanced brand promotion and communication media delivery products.

Position Summary

The Engineering Product Manager is responsible for assisting in the development of all of the company’s new technologies and product applications.  The Manager is responsible for developing the necessary tech and data sheets for all new technology products.    The Manager will support the Sales Team’s efforts in connection with selling these technologies by providing costing details, design recommendations, production specs, interfacing with clients on all questions and working with internal support teams and outside vendors on prototypes and production.  The Manager will also interface with our supply chain to source technologies/products, develop supporting specs and technical data sheets and coordinate production. 

The Manager will be responsible for framing up new technologies and coordinating production of actual jobs.   The Technical Department will look to the Manager to assist with providing direction on manufacturing protocols, vendor selection, competitive analysis studies, developing specifications, purchasing and product/tech development.  Manager will also get involved on certain projects with the installation and QA/QC specs for actual production jobs.

The Manager will also provide technical details to the Marketing Department to assist in developing all necessary marketing and production communications including:  pricing grids for Sales Reps, FAQ and other technical specs, Instruction Sheets, User Manual, etc.


The Manager will report to the Vice President of Engineering. The Manager will have no direct reports at this time. The position is based in Los Angeles (Gardena), Ca.

Experience Level

The Manager should have 3-4 years of comparable experience. Background and  an understanding of LCD video display and digital media playback devices is required.
