Challenge:
Each year, the top fashion bloggers, magazine editors and celebrities attend New York Fashion week, often enjoying the latest fashion designs with a front row view. For those less fortunate, Rachel Roy wanted to make her Fall/Winter 2013 collection accessible by launching a digital look book featuring the runway show in its entirety.
Solution:
The collection represented refined opulence with a strong use of rich autumnal colors, unique textures and bejeweled accents. The presentation of the digital look book needed to be equally luxurious. The Jones Group turned to Video in Print technology to produce a sophisticated media kit. Thanks to Americhip's proprietary 4.3" LCD screen, recipients experienced a bit of fashion week as they watched all 28 looks being modeled down the runaway. A removable slip sheet detailed the features of each look for added convenience.
The design of the media kit was consistent with the brands refined aesthetic and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. The Jones Group is planning on utilizing VIP technology for their other fashion labels as a way to make high fashion accessible to everybody.
